The Tamerri Festival is the brain child of Root n Raw, an eccentric events company based in Abuja that aims to promote the abundance of creativity and culture within the city of Abuja. Tamerri was born of the desire to create an alternate reality and provoke thought beyond divisive labels in order to understand diversity, identity and ways of thinking.
This year’s edition spans over 3 days and is packed with activities for everyone of any age to enjoy. We have activities such as the Human Library, Learning and Craft workshops, Fashion shows, Photo exhibitions, music and much more in addition to the soulful African and Jazz infused music from Nigeria’s alternative artists suh as Bez, Cef, Elle, Tara & Bella, Rubunu, Jessica Bongos, Falana, Stixx, Cheso, Knote, and many more!
Note : Bring your family and friends! Students and Coppers come at the rate of N2,500 (if in NYSC or University, you must bring an ID), while children under the age to 10 come for free!
